Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and is definitely worth a visit if you're planning to travel around Asia for a while. It is also a culinary capital where Street Stalls are abundant. However, Bangkok is not just great at cooking Thai food, as they can cook pretty much any other cuisine really well! Here is a guide to some of the best places in Bangkok.
Nuer Koo @Siam Paragon 4 Floor
Overall Rating: 9/10
Price: ££

A great place for gourmet level beef noodles is Nuer Khoo in the Siam Paragon shopping Mall.
Siam Paragon is a high end mall with an absolute baltic air conditioning system, so this is a great place to do if you want a break from the boiling heat of Bangkok. Nuer Khoo is a Thai Wagyu Beef noodle restaurant.
They also serve a variety of Thai side dishes (like tapas), such as fried spring rolls, chive cakes etc. However you must try their beef noodles.
Taste: 9/10
The broth has a rich and hearty beef taste! You can definitely tell they've been boiling the beef for a long time.
Texture: 9/10
You can either choose thin or fat rice noodles. They are both equally good. The amazing thing about rice noodles, is that when done well, like at Nuer Khoo, they are soft, springy, and glide through your mouth along with the beef! Amazing!

Nahm 27 S Sathorn Rd
Overall Rating: 9/10
Price: ££££

If you're looking at that picture and are salivating, YES! That was my intention! If you're looking for amazingly innovative Thai Food that retains its traditional roots, Nahm is definitely the place to go!
Nahm has branches in London and Hong Kong, which definitely is testament to its amazing food!
We loved everything about this place, particularly its extensive Range of traditional Thai favourites to more 'fusionesque' dishes. We ordered a set to share for three people. These are the dishes we ordered.

Our Starter was Pineapple with a chilli shrimp jam/paste. Pure Lush!

Top Left: Crispy Pork wrapped with Betel Leaves and sliced Papaya
Top Right: Fish Cakes served in a Banana Leaf
Bottom Left: Shrimp Spring Rolls
Bottom Right: Fried Potato Cakes

A mixture of dishes I can't remember. The one on the bottom is a Crab Curry, which was also amazing!
